Making Homemade Instruments / Props for Families
To Get started, the basics:
1. SHAKERS – with any plastic container and beans/rice and SEALED with tape to stay closed
2. STICKS – use Large Kitchen SPOONS (Wooden or Plastic) or any other sturdy sticks for rhythm sticks
3. TUPPERWARE Bowls or CARDBOARD BOXES for Instant Drums!
4. SCARVES or LIGHT Blankies for Dancing With
Keep it simple with little ones, with less decoration as they will put things in mouths. More links for ideas creating your own Homemade Instruments:
