Babies in Music Together Class
Beginning Your Baby's Musical Journey

A born sounder and mover,
your baby is already equipped
with the means and potential to make music.

 You've probably noticed how they respond
when you play a song in the car
or sing them a song to soothe them.
Developing your baby's natural musicality
will open the door to a world of possibility,
not only for music learning but for all learning.

The early months are so important to this process,
which is why we designed this special class
to help you every step of the way.
Music Together of Newport County welcomes babies into all of our classes.

In our classes, we give coaching for the activities
to learn more about how to support music development in infancy
and how to connect with your baby through music
using methods such as "purposeful touch," "sound-layering,"
"expressive play" etc.
Our babies experience the same song collections
as our other classes,
you will experience a seamless transition
as your baby grows into the fullness of our mixed-age classes.

Starting Early ...

Research points to the far-reaching educational value
of early musical exposure for infants.

We occasionally will offer a specialty Babies Class
for Parents with infants as a way
of starting the Musical journey -Together!

Babies are also welcome to any of our mixed-age classes.
Our regular mixed-age classes provide the benefit
of an enriched social environment
where babies freely associate
with older children and siblings,
and older children gain confidence-building experience.

In our Regular Mixed- age classes,
babies 10 months and under attend free when accompanying a registered older sibling.
